CashCrate paid surveys are an established paid survey website that pay you for your opinions. The company was established in 2006 but the service in its current guise was formed in 2008. The company has an A rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Together with surveys Cashcrate offers a number of other ways to make money including; offers to try new websites and to try new products, cashback from shopping, referrals and to win prizes by playing their online games and contests. The CashCrate App

CashCrate also have a mobile app available on Android where you can answer surveys while you are on the go. This is one of the few paid survey sites that have turned towards the mobile user. The app is currently rated at 3.7/5 on the Google Play Store. There has been mixed reviews over the usability of the app and customers not getting rewarded for completing surveys. This would suggest that the company will need to work on improving it’s mobile service.

Surveys on Cashcrate

CashCrate is similar to all other survey sites in the way it offers users to complete surveys. A CashCrate survey is normally worth $.50-$5. The payment per survey is reasonable because of the fact that the company is not an actual market research firm. Rather the company work for market research firms to help them gather more information. Surveys are limited as usual, you may receive up to five surveys a day but you probably will not be eligible to answer them all.

Cashcrate Payments

Upon registration the site offers a $1 bonus for signing up, however, when I signed up I only received $.50 and there was no explanation for the the other missing $.50. Registration is simple and you only have to answer a few questions about yourself which takes around 3 minutes. The site however does provide a variety of ways to earn money when compared to other sites as it has offers, referrals and cashback etc. Payment by CashCrate is through cheque so one you hit your target you should cash out immediately. Minimum cashout is $20 so the threshold is not to high.

Cheques get paid out once a month so therefore when you cash out at the beginning of a month you can expect to receive your cheque by the end of that month.

Free trials and offers

The site offers rewards for free trials for products and software. It is best practice to be aware of the software if any that is offered, that is may contain malware that could harm your desktop or mobile device. It is also worthwhile to unsubscribe from any free trials that you may sign up for on the site to avoid payments in the future or misuse of your personal data.
