The RedC is one of the leading market research companies in Ireland. They are better known for doing Irish political polls that are deemed to be fairly accurate when it comes to political opinion. Since 2011 the RedC have been offering payments for people who wish to answer questions for money. The service is named Redclive or www.redclive.ie.

Can anyone join Redclive?

You must be an Irish resident aged 16 or over. Upon registration you will then proceed to a registration questionnaire. The registration is however, quite a rigorous one that may take 15 minutes to complete. The questions you answer will determine which surveys you will be eligible for in the future. Once you register you will be then a member of the Redclive panel.

How do I answer surveys for cash?

You have to wait for survey invitations to arrive into your inbox in order to participate in answering surveys for cash. The maximum number of surveys you could potentially receive per week is up to 3. It will therefore take quite a long time for someone to accumulate the €50 threshold. Redclive offer €1 per 5 minute surveys. Making a €3 a week from 3 surveys mean it will be a long and tedious length of time in order to reach the threshold.

The pros of signing up for Redclive.ie

I recently produced an article on making money from online surveys and hypothesized that if you sign up to a number of survey sites you have a better chance of accumulating a little extra cash. Redclive will certainly not make you rich but could be that little bit extra at the end of the year if you happen to reach your threshold.

The one thing I will say about Redclive is the fact that they do have a lot of information on their site with blogs and forums with user inputs.

The cons of using Redclive

It is an overly tedious route to meet your threshold. The service really is for people who are unemployed or working from home and who have their computers turned on and connected to the internet for a good part the day, each day.

I joined the service last year with much optimism but realized that it was too difficult to even answer a single survey. As I mentioned you would only ever get 1-3 emails a week. If you were for example logging in 10 minutes after you receive the survey invite, chances are you will have missed your opportunity to participate as the survey will be filled by other participants.

In conclusion

I would advise people who are looking to make money online to avoid the disappointment and not to waste their time signing up to go through a rigorous registration process. Time is money, therefore redclive.ie is not a viable solution for anyone looking to make money online. The survey site could only be considered as part of a strategy to complement a whole host of other survey sites that someone may have signed up to.
